Try this delicious recipe of Short Ribs on Egg Noodles using Good Life!

Serves 6-8.


200 gms Good Life Egg Noodles

1 kg beef short ribs

1 pc onion, chopped

1 pc carrot, sliced

¾ cup light soy sauce

½ cup brown sugar

4 pcs star anise

1 tbsp minced garlic

1/3 cup rice wine vinegar

2 pcs beef cubes

2 cups    water

1/2 tsp   Good Life Sesame Oil

1 tbsp     spring onions, sliced

broccoli  florets


  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Sear beef in batches, cook for 3-4 minutes until browned all over. Remove from pan.
  3. Add the onion and carrot, then cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes until browned. Add the soy sauce, sugar, star anise, garlic, vinegar, beef cubes and water, sesame oil and two-thirds of the spring onion and bring to a simmer. Add beef, then cover and simmer until beef is tender.
  4. Arrange noodles on platter. Pour a little bit of sauce over noodles and toss.
  5. Then place tender beef short ribs on noodles. Sprinkle chopped spring onion if desired, just before serving.




This Italiano Porkchop lends an herby taste to your normal fried pork chops. Bon appétit!

Serves 6

1 kilo porkchop

To taste salt

2 pcs eggs, beaten

For Italian Bread Crumbs:

1 cup Good Life Bread Crumbs

1⁄2 tsp salt

1⁄2 tsp dried parsley

1⁄2 tsp pepper

1⁄2 tsp garlic powder

1⁄4 tsp onion powder


For Italian Bread Crumbs:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl or put in a food processor. Blend well Store in an air tight container.

For Porkchop Italiano:

  1. Season porkchops with salt. Let it stand for 10 minutes to absorb.
  2. Heat oil on a frying pan.
  3. Dip porkchops on the beaten egg then to the Italian bread crumbs then fry. Turning it occasionally until porkchop is cooked or golden brown.
