Around 11 PM on a Saturday night, Souris and I decided to go out and wander off the night lights.
Good thing I read the fine print because they would not be accepting vouchers starting December 15 to January 2.
So Timog it is as we road off with the intent to fill our hungry tummy with skewers.
Just to be honest, when I heard the name of the restaurant, the first thing that came into my mind was an open place. A place where it would be smoky and hot and quite like a setting where you eat skewers — hence the streets.
But come to my surprise it was far from that, it was nice and comfy and clean and not crowded at all.
As per the food, it was actually awesome just try not to enjoy yourself too much with cooking them in the grill because they might get too hard to chew (especially that I have braces) or burnt.
Be careful not to have your face too close on the grill as it is very hot and some of the ember might pop out of the grill. We don’t want any burns on our skin!
All in all, this place is good for hanging out with your friends or perhaps with your family as well.
It’s quite pricey for the usual skewers that we tend to see at the streets but if you love skewers and don’t like the smoke and crowd in the streets, this is actually the place to be.
PS. We were actually served by the owner of the restaurant that we thought was just an ordinary “service boy” until he spoke and has a very decent accent if I may say so 🙂
